Early Preschool

 

Children 24 to 36 months are exploding in their ability to communicate and to declare their individuality.

They demonstrate their independence by taking things apart and putting them back together.

Young children expend great effort in completing what they set out to do. They take in the world around them by asking lots and lots of questions.

At Monkey Business, the teachers develop activities and materials that are chosen based on children’s interests and designed to foster independence, cooperation and self-esteem.

The environment for this age group is set up for child-choice and self-directed play.

There are areas for fine/gross motor development, language and social development, sensory development, artistic development and imaginative development.
